  • This Privacy Policy applies to all data collected and processed by The Apanage Gallery, represented by William Lindhorst (sole proprietor), in the context of the project “Apanage Days August ‘25”.

  • We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains which personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe – in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Depending on how you interact with Apanage, we may collect:

    ● Contact data (name, email address)

    ● Submitted content (artwork, artist statements)

    ● Booking and payment data (via Stripe or PayPal)

    ● Website usage data (with consent via Squarespace cookie tool)

    ● Communication history (support messages, form entries)

    We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health, religion, biometric data).

  • Data is collected when you:

    • submit the artist registration

    • book a slot via our website

    • contact us directly

    • interact with our website (via cookies & analytics – see section 6)

    We do not collect data from persons under 18 without legal guardian consent.

  • We use your data to:

    • manage your booking

    • communicate with you during the project

    • process payments

    • display and promote your work (with your permission)

    • fulfil legal requirements (e.g. tax retention, accounting)

    In some cases, we may need to retain tax-related data (e.g. billing country, VAT status) to comply with EU tax laws (e.g. OSS).

  • We use Squarespace’s cookie tool to request your consent for cookies. If you agree, we may collect analytics data through Google Analytics and show you relevant ads through Google Ads.

  • Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

    • access your personal data

    • request correction or deletion

    • object to data processing

    • restrict certain uses

    • receive a copy of your data (data portability)

  • We only keep your data as long as needed for the project or as legally required. You can request deletion any time unless we are required to keep certain data (e.g. for tax reasons).
